A slot tail has two distinct functions, one being to cover you when you’re in the middle of a spin and another being to reduce the amount of friction on your grips. A slot tail can either be light or heavy, depending on how you feel. It needs to be a “make it happen” flyer to maximize its potential as a spinner. These two functions can be used to create different effects. However, in both cases, you’ll need to keep a few things in mind before you decide to get a tail.
A slot is a list that can hold a specified number of messages. When you read from or write to a slot, you move its index forward until the next block starts. A slot’s index is start_index + BLOCK_CAP. If there’s no message in the slot, it creates an empty block. A slot can hold many messages. To create a block, you must have at least one open slot.
