Screen Rant spoke with Laurence Fishburne about reprising his role in the role of Bowery King in John Wick Chapter 4. The actor discusses working on the show with Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves his growth in the years since The Matrix. Fishburne also reveals whether he is interested in a Bowery King spin-off. Screen Rant"All Hail the King" man! I love the Bowery King! He has such a gravitas to him while hiding from view. What has your attitude towards this character evolved since he was first presented? That's incredible. Now, the world-building of John Wick is phenomenal. They make every location and setting appear as if they are a character in their own. Can you talk to me about John Wick's world? John Wick and if you'd like for a sequel from the Bowery King? You've been collaborating with Keanu Reeves all from The Matrix. Do you want to talk to me about how you've seen his growth and development over the years from that time from then to today? Laurence Fishburne: Well, the endurance and discipline required of him over this past decade doing Wick it's unbelievable. John Wick Chapter 4 movie 's truly amazing. And the Judo game alone in this film. The gun game he played in the second movie, and now the Judo is simply amazing. The thing is with these movies. I'm convinced they're this John Wick franchise is one of the only franchise out that keeps getting better with each installment. It's incredible. Laurence Fishburne: That's been deliberate. And that's really down to Chad, Keanu, and the whole team. Speaking of Chad, he's been on board for each of these films. What can you tell us about the process of collaboration with him on these films? Laurence Fishburne: He's a student of film. He's a student of action films. He's a student of international film. He's an incredible martial artist. He has incredible discipline and vision and has brought all of these elements together. Naturally, with his work with Keanu we're really enjoying the harvest of their time together. At the end the chapter John Wick 3, the Bowery King makes a decision to save John Wick. What happens to his relationship with John Wick in Chapter Four? Laurence Fishburne: Well, I think that's pretty much what happens between John Wick and Bowery King. Remember in two when Bowery King first appears. Bowery King first appears, it's him who John Wick is sent to when it looks like it's going to the toilet. But then suddenly, the toilet is opened. Now you're in the sewers with the King Rat and it's quite amazing.
