When employees are used to a certain working methodology, it could be a real challenge for managers and leaders to implement a new working process, but it’s all about strategies and knowing perfectly well why, how and when to implement collaboration. You need to establish milestones, inform everyone, encourage collaboration attitudes and sharing, incentive your team… Do not forget that most people are afraid of changing, so be always transparent about the process and patient with those who need more support or guidance. And of course, change yourself before trying to change everyone else, if you are not completely devoted, prepared and convinced to collaboration, you won’t get your team and employees on board. Choosing the accurate technical resources as free chat rooms , software, applications, etc, could be a headache and you might need some advise due to the great number of solutions in the market. Don’t be afraid to ask for support.
