Good afternoon. You’ve probably heard that DTE energy, which distributes gas to consumers in northern Michigan, will build two new branches of its pipeline. As written in the article I read here https://dte-energy.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html the project cost will be factored into future DTE energy rates, subject to the approval of these rates by the MPSC. The cost of the project will most likely not result in a significant increase in rates for consumers and utilities as this will apply for the entire duration of the 20-year DTE energy contract
